Alex A. Sanchez-Polanco, 29, of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly in Bethlehem, PA July 13, 2026. He was the son of Alex N. Sanchez Colon. Alex lived and breathed the military lifestyle. He found true purpose in the discipline, camaraderie and structure of service. The structure of the military wasn't just a career for Alex; it was his calling and a defining part of who he was. He took immense pride in serving his country and thrived within the military community. He enlisted in the Army in 2020 and remained in the Army Reserves until the present.
Alex was looking forward to marrying the love of his life Alyha Pearl when she returned from her military deployment. He was employed by Penn Foam as a machine operator. Alex will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Survivors: Father: Alex N. Sanchez-Colon, Brother: Aidan N. Sanchez Medina, Finance: Alyha Pearl of Bethlehem, Mother & Father in Law: Lucy (Lloyd) Pearl of Allentown and Friend-brother: John Pearl of Allentown.
