Allan Kerson

Allan Martin Kerson, 96, of Allentown, passed away on May 24, 2026. The son of the late Meyer and the late Bertha (Friedman) Kerson. Allan worked for General Electric Co of Allentown for 23 yrs before Black & Decker bought GE. He then worked for Black and Decker before his retirement. Allan was a devoted father, grandfather and husband to his late wife, Marie of 51 yrs. before her passing in 2011. He was a member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18 th & Turner Sts, Allentown.

Survivors: daughter, Deborah A wife of Douglas E Benedict of Shenandoah, TX, brother, Jack Kerson of Webster, NY. Grandson, James E Benedict of Winchester, MA; granddaughter, Jennifer Benedict ( Mitchell) Holden, MA; grandson, Nicholas Kerson (Kim) Conshohocken, PA; Andrew Kerson ( Angelique) Hoboken, NJ. Great Grandchildren Hallie and Timothy John. Predeceased by his brother, Leonard M, and Son, Timothy J Kerson.

Services: Funeral service will be held at Monday, June 1 9:30-10:30 AM Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th & Turner Sts, Allentown. Visitation: 9:15 AM at church. Interment: in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
