Annamae Louise Skrovanek

Annamae Louise Skrovanek passed away on February 26, 2025. Born in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, the family later moved to Bowmanston. Annamae graduated from Palmerton High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She later graduated from the Lancaster school of Cosmetology. She married Joseph Skrovanek and led an active life in Allentown. An avid bridge player and golfer, she was a member of several bridge clubs and served as president of the Allentown Municipal Ladies Golf League. She also served on various committees at her church, The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena. She had four children: Louise, wife of Tom Cox of NY; Joan wife of George Shal of Blue Bell; Joseph husband of Margaret of Macungie; and Maryann of Catasauqua. She had four grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters.
