Carole B Peters, 104, of Lititz, passed away September 22, 2017 in her daughter's home in Lititz, PA. She was the daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (Genovese) Bartera born in Egypt, PA. She was married to Kermit M. Peters for 50 years. She spent her childhood years ages 7 to 16 in Corinaldo Italy. While in Italy she trained as a Master Seamstress. Upon moving back to Penna. with her sisters she worked for the Signal Core Munition Factory during World War II. Carole was a member of the Cathedral St Catharine of Siena Church where she volunteered for many years as a cafeteria mother and a member of the Cathedral Women's Alliance. Carol was a Master Bridge Player. She traveled throughout the world with her husband during their retirement years. She was the last survivor of 8 children of the Bartera family. Survivors: one daughter: Carol Cryer in Lititz, PA; Grandchildren: Sharon Cobb and husband John of Garden City, NY; Christine MacTaggart and husband Ian of Greenwich, CT; Amy Cesarapto and husband Marc of Southport, Ct; Ryan Greene and wife Vittoria of Chester Springs, PA; Timothy Cryer and wife Cherie of Lancaster; Jordan Cryer and wife Jenifer of Richmond, VA; Megan Jurina and husband Albert of Richland, NC and Rebecca Cryer and husband Brock of Lancaster, PA. 18 great grandchildren. Nieces & Nephews: Lee & MaryAnn Hammer, Irene Ambrosino, Linda Bartera, Anna Pfeiffer, Mary Frances Fulmer. She was predeceased by her husband, Kermit and siblings, Florence, Nancy, Rose, Mary, Albina, Peter and Michael. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 29 at 11:30 am at Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 1825 W. Turner St., Allentown 18104.
