Darline E Butterweck (Dolly), 89, of Allentown, passed away July 27, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospice, 17th Chew Sts., Allentown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Alton D and the late Alma (Reed) Romig. Dolly was married to L. Dale Butterweck for 37 yrs. She was a former member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown where she was involved in day care and Sunday School as a Sunday School Superintendent. Dolly was in Eastern Star in New Temple Chapter # 298 and White Shrine #27.Survivors: four daughters: Diane wife of Glenn Carl of Mineral, VA, Joan Decker of Center Valley, PA, Janet Butterweck and companion Paul Shankweiler of Allentown, PA and Barbara wife of Corey Wagenhurst of Allentown, PA; one brother: Thomas (Marene) Romig of Albuquerque, NM;grandchildren: Destiny Wagenhurst, Jason (Deanna) Carl, Tricia Blake, Gina Decker and Matthew Decker; great grandchildren, Frank, Brent and Jordan Blake.Predeceased by her husband, Dale L. and brothers: Alton and Donald.
