Donna Marie Wakefield, 58, of Allentown, on June 23, 2018 passed away in her daughters arms, husband and surrounded by family at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She lost her fight against Endometrial cancer. Donna was the daughter of Patricia E (Larkin) Murray and step father, the late Harvey Murray and the late natural father, John Henry Schaeffer . Donna was married to Paul M Selig in September 2015. Buddy, (her dog) was kissing Donna's hands in the final moments of her life. She enjoyed the beach and loved spending time there with her toes in the sand soaking up the sun. She loved spending time with her children and family and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and going to their plays and school activities. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was loved by many. Donna was a graduate of Central Catholic Highschool, Class of 1978. She worked for the Allentown State Hospital and Wernersville State hospital for many years. She was looking forward to starting her own cleaning business. Survivors: Husband, Paul M Seig, Mother, Patricia Murray, Daughter: Abby Barna wife of Rich Barna. Sons: Matthew Wakefield husband of Jill Wakefield, and stepson Marc Wakefield husband of Georgiana; Sisters: Marcella Fegley wife of Scott Fegely, Lori Murray wife Mark Hellyar and brothers: Mark Murray husband of Dawn Murray, Michael Murray, and John Schaeffer; Grandchildren: Juliana and Richie Barna, Natalya, Matthew, Isaac, Shaila, Terran, Noah and Araina Wakefield; prior husband and father of her children, James Wakefield; 9 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and great nephews and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
