Edward E McGeady, 86, of Allentown, died August 15, 2014 in Hospice House of the VNA St Luke's, Bethlehem, PA. He was the son of the late Thomas and the late Anna (Shearer) McGeady. He was employed by the Former Fuller Co in Allentown for 35 yrs. The focus of his life was his cats, Oscar & Whitey. He enjoyed listening to music. Ed was a self-taught cabinet maker and he completed his own kitchen cabinets and enjoyed creating and designing custom pieces. He was a member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church in Allentown. Survivors: 4 nieces: Mary Anne wife of Donald Fegely, Theresa Marie wife of Jonathan Weiss, Diane wife of Allan Burkhardt, Michelle wife of Julius J. Mikosky; 3 grandnephews and 1 grandniece; friend, Nancy DeAngelis. Predeceased by siblings: Thomas Leo, Frank, and Theresa Marie Brown, and nephew Thomas F Brown. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 10:30 am at Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th & Turner Sts., Allentown.
