Geraldine Elizabeth Madeya, 88, of Allentown, passed away September 25, 2021 in Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, PA. She was the daughter of the late William and the late Amelia (Hourt) Kocher. Gerry was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. She was married to the late Joseph Madeya. Gerry was a member of The Cathedral St Catherine of Siena. She worked as a waitress at the Village Inn for many years until it's closing. Survivors: two daughters: Karen wife of Cliff Karafin of Newtown, PA and Theresa wife of James Hrusovsky of Manheim, PA, and three sons: Martin husband of Kathleen of Orwigsburg, PA, Robert husband of Susan Madeya of West Roxbury, MA and William husband of Linda of Pottstown, PA; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister: Lorraine Evans. Services: Private. A Mass at the Cathedral of St Catharine of Siena Church was celebrated. Interment: in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
