Henry Meyer Abramson, DO, 81, of Allentown, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Phoebe Home of Allentown, PA. He is the son of the late Maurice and Esther (Gerson) Abramson. He was married to Dorothy M (Vogelman) Abramson for 45 yrs. He was employed by at Allentown State Hospital as a Psychiatrist and in private practice in Allentown. The family would like to thank Byran Gehringer and Donna Knappenberger-Baumann for the care and concern for Henry. He will be remembered as a wonderful loving husband and father, most people would remember him as a soft spoken person and a gentle soul. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy M Abramson, daughter: Arlene and husband Edward Strass of Gardner, KS; one grandson, Benjamin Strass of Olathe, KS; niece, Diana Abramson of Poplar Bluff, MO and sister in law, Elfreida Abramson of Poplar Bluff, MO. Predeceased by his Brother, Bernard Abramson, DO. Services are private.
