John George Kressler

John G. Kressler was 63 yrs. old when he passed away at St Luke's Hospital in Allentown, PA. He was born in Allentown, PA, but lived in Slatedale, PA and around the Orlando, FL area. He was the son of late George and the late Anita Louise (Munjone) Kressler. John was an avid Flyer's fan who loved watching and listening to the Philadelphia Flyers. Loved tinkering with his tools any chance he got. Rock N Roll was always playing wherever he went. He was a hard worker either as a painter, remodeling kitchens or tree maintenance. John was usually seen riding everywhere on his 2022 Aventon bike. He was proud he rode close to 8,500 miles in almost 1 year. The D & L Trail was his daily ride to his various jobs along with enjoying the outdoors. He was instrumental in starting the D & L trail in Slatington to Allentown almost on a daily basis. He enjoyed hanging out with Jevin Green, his surrogate son. His grandfatherly joy was shared with his son, James's daughter, Presley. John spent many conversations on a daily basis with his sister, Joanne. He loved all animals, mostly his dog Anna and the late, Zowie and Jahween. He will be missed by many. Lick Jr. of Allentown, PA and one son: James and fiancée Kayla Bieber and granddaughter Presley of Allentown, PA and a sister: Joanne Harrison of Phila, PA and brothers: Jeff Kressler of Slatington and Jimmy Kressler of Allentown, PA.
