John Mudrick, age 98, of Orlando, FL, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014. John was born in Shamokin, PA. He is the son of the late Stephen and the late Susan (Simmons) Mudrick. He and his wife, Freda (Heider) Mudrick owned and operated Heider's Market at New and Allen Streets in Allentown for many years before retiring in 1973. They relocated to live with their son's family in Orlando, FL in 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 yrs, Freda in 2011. He was a member of Cathedral St Catharine of Siena. All will miss their "Hoofty" greatly! He is survived by daughter: Barbara wife of Constantine Filipos of Peaks Island, ME and son: John S.Mudrick husband of Mary Ann of Orlando, FL; 5 Grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren John was predeceased by his brothers, Stephen and Michael of Allentown and brother Joseph of Fullerton.
