Joseph T Amrick, 92, of Allentown, died January 17, 2017 in his home in Allentown. He was the son of the late Michael and Veronica (Soltis) Amrick. He served during World War II in the Navy as a Parachute Rigger 2nd class in the Pacific and American Theaters. Joe was married to Florence (Ward) for 60 yrs. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Joe was a member of Cathedral St Catharine of Siena Church. He was a machine setter for the former Western Electric before retiring in 1987. Survivors: his wife, children: Thomas J Amrick, MD and wife Caryl of Summit, NJ., Paula J and husband David Boughtwood of Rensselaer, NY., Christopher J Amrick MD and wife Phyllis of Nazareth, PA and Beth J and husband Thomas Fitch of Bethlehem, PA. 9 Grandchildren: Anna, Caroline, Christopher, Katie, Alex, Rebecca, Christina, Vanessa and Matthew; nieces and nephews.
