Obituary

Kathleen W. Duff, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home on June 8, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Mary T. Weil (Gallagher) and Walter W. Weil of Allentown and wife of the late Roderick Duff. Kathleen was employed by the former Bethlehem Steel as an executive secretary. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Allentown and was one of the friendly faces in the rectory office where she was a volunteer for over 15 years. She was a member of the Women's Alliance and served as the Membership Chair of the former Serra Club of Allentown. Kathleen was the matriarch of her family helping to keep family members connected both near and far. She was a wonderful, kind person, always willing to listen and lend a helping hand. She will be deeply missed by all. Survivors: She is survived by her sister, Cecelia Adams of Allentown and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Roderick; sisters, Marjorie Vandergrift, Lorraine Keim, Mary Parker, and Annette Sipos all of Allentown, and brothers William Lawrence, and Walter, Jr. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 13 at 10:00 AM in the Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 1825 W. Turner St. Allentown. Viewing: 9-10:00 AM at Cathedral. Interment: after Mass, Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus, PA. Contributions: Cathedral Church, 1825 W. Turner St., Allentown, PA 18104 or Animals In Distress, PO Box Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036. CEMETERY-Calvary Cemetery Emmaus PA- Google maps will take you to the cemetery.
