Katrina J. Trexler Katrina J. Trexler 66, of Allentown ended her 15 year long struggle with lymphoma on November 11th 2014. She was the daughter of Doris and John Vash, sister of Dori and her husband Ron and David, mother of Matt (husband of Morgan) and Jamie, nana of grandson Cole, and friend to many in the greater Lehigh Valley. She enjoyed murder mystery books, New York City, volunteering at St. Catherine of Siena, work (just kidding), Maj jhong, road trips, WOGL, James Bond (1. Sean Connery, 2. Roger Moore 3. Daniel Craig), Vivaldi, Neil Diamond, the Jersey shore, masterpiece theatre, DIY, breakfast food, red meat, diet soda, candy, Asian cuisine, amaretto, macaroons and pistachio ice cream. She rarely left the house without sunglasses, earrings, and Clinique sugared grapefruit lipstick. At St Catherine's, Katrina ran the school cafeteria, she assisted with cheerleading, the school supply shop and the Santa shop, she taught CCD, lead Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups, and assisted in the rectory. In addition to her church volunteerism, Katrina assisted her children with extra-curricular activities, managed an outpatient medical office and later was a state employee for almost 20 years. As a person, she was quick to defend, quick to forgive, quick to listen, quick to donate and quick to lend a hand. She had a healthy prayer life was a believer in God and people.
