Margaret Werley, of Emmaus, passed away April 14, 2015 in Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Peitro) Nicotera of Jacksonville, PA. She was married to Edwin Werley for 59 years until his passing on Nov 1, 2012. She was the founder/owner of Werley Day Care Schools in Allentown which she directed for 55 yrs. She loved the children in her care. An untiring, generous and loving caregiver to her husband, family, friends, and her Bichon frise dogs Benji and Bijot, she was a great cook and baker who enjoyed entertaining family, and decorating the family home especially for the holidays. Her home was always filled with music, Italian opera and pop singers played loud. She was an avid golfer, and antiques collector, who enjoyed traveling to Florida, Hawaii and around the world with husband, Ed. She always had another project and idea to pursue instead of sitting down to rest.
