Maryann Lapadula

Maryann LaPadula, 91, of Allentown, passed away May 23, 2024 in Phoebe Home Inc., Allentown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and the late Ann (Strus) Schloffer. She was married to the late Carmine LaPadula for 58 yrs. She was devoted to her husband and enjoyed every minute. Maryann looked back into the 1950s and thought what a great time that was with the fondest memories. She was a member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and had a beautiful soprano voice. Maryann was a member of the Cathedral Choir for many years. She went to sing in Rome with them as the oldest person of 83 years young.Maryann loved playing cards, one of her favorites was Canasta. She looked forward to going to the beach to Wildwood Crest and Cape May with her family. She appreciated birds and recognized every bird, and you could always count on her to give you details of each individual bird. She had a beautiful garden with roses as her specialty. She often sang when she cooked and passed that on to her granddaughter. Maryann was always up for an adventure, and you could always count on her for a spontaneous activity.Survivors: daughter: Kathleen Ferri Greene, RI and son: Michael LaPadula and Tina Eck of Allentown and 2 grandchildren: Rachel Mease wife of Andrew of Fairborn, OH and Ryan LaPadula Mansfield MA and sister Dorothy Najpauer of Whitehall.
