Melvin Quiñones

Melvin Quiñones, 67, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on June 29th, 2025. Mel was born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico to Gumersindo Quiñones and Awilda Ramos-Quiñones. He attended Alexander Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York before working as a machinist throughout most of his life. Mel was very passionate about salsa music. He was also a big New York Giants fan. Mel was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Quiñones and his brother Raymond Quiñones. He is survived by his two children, Cassondra Quiñones and Rachel Quiñones-Mercado; two grandchildren, George and Santino; and siblings Iris Quiñones, Carlos Quiñones, and Gumersindo Quiñones Jr. He also had several nieces and nephews.
