Michael was born in Allentown, PA to John and Nancy (Galliano) Newhard of Allentown. In his youth he was a champion cyclist winning many awards. He was an employee at Ehrich Pest Control for over a decade. He was also a skilled craftsman and woodworker. Michaels greatest pride was his two daughters, Ashley and Victoria and his granddaughter, Penelope. Michael had a passion for skiing, riding his beloved Harley Davidson, and rooting for his favorite football team, The Eagles. He was also a lover of all animals. His generous spirit enjoyed helping the homeless, frequently donating clothing and meals. Michael was known for his infectious laugh and lighthearted sense of humor. Michael is survived by his parents, John Newhard and Nancy Newhard of Allentown and daughters: Ashley Jo and husband Zachary Scott and Victoria and husband Tom Karlick of Bethlehem, PA and granddaughter Penelope Karlick, Brother John Newhard, his spouse Kris and his Nephew John Newhard Jr. There will be a private service for immediate family held on Jan 17th 2021 at Robert C. Weir Funeral home in Allentown, PA. Donations in Michael's honor can be made to Rescue Mission, 355 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA 18101. Masks and social distance observed.
