Robert Joseph Conner, 89, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly June 27, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Twp., PA. He was the son of the late John Clifford and Rose (Bonner) Conner. He shared 65 loving years with his late wife, June (Mauldin) Conner. He was a manager for the former Washington National Insurance Company in Allentown, PA.. Bob was a Eucharistic Minister at Cathedral St Catharine of Siena Catholic Church and Lehigh Valley Hospital for many years. He was the President of Allentown Serra Club for 2 terms and he was involved in many activities at church and in the community. He enjoyed spending time on his side porch with his neighbors. Bob loved going to the Chesapeake Bay and spending time with family and friends. He had a strong conviction for his Catholic Faith and he will always be fondly remembered for his gift of gab and energy and helpful nature. He was a member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church in Allentown. Survivors: two daughters: Sydney wife of Bernie Wesolowski of Sinking Spring, PA and Jody wife of Charlie Myers of Allentown; two sisters: Agnes wife of Bernie Nally of Newark, DE and Joan Sciarra of Warminster, PA; grandchildren, Allyson wife of John Cubbage of Macungie, PA and Drew husband of Brieann Wesolowski of Birdsboro, PA and great grandchildren: Bella and Grayson; 7 siblings predeceased Bob.
