Robert P. Gery, lifetime resident of Allentown, was called to the Lord on October 16, 2016 after suffering a stroke. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rita A. (Schenk) and Paul H. Gery, both of Allentown. He graduated from William Allen High School and the Franciscan University of Stuebenville. Bob leaves behind several cousins and numerous friends. He worked as a Production Assistant and Technician at RCN Telecom, filming Lafayette football, baseball and basketball games and other high school sporting and local events. Bob also produced RCN's "Community Spotlight" program. A major American history buff, Bob traveled the country to see more than half of our president's graves, and stood in line to have his favorite President, Jimmy Carter, autograph each of his books. His love of music, especially the Beatles, was surpassed by none. His kindness to everyone around him will be missed by all.
