Samuel A. Tatum Jr. of Allentown, PA died peacefully surrounded by family on April 30, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was a loving and caring husband of Marcella (Clark) Tatum. Born in Lebanon PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Amy (Hardenstein) Tatum.He was an Army veteran, who served in the Old Guard Company D. He was a proud member of Teamsters 773 Union. After retiring, he worked part time for Lehigh County.He traveled the globe with family and friends. He was an avid golfer and gardener. His favorite pastime was spending time with family, especially his devoted and caring wife of 63 years, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His humor and storytelling will be remembered fondly.He was a member of many social clubs in Allentown, The Hogan's, Cross Keys, The Masons Green Leaf Lodge, and the Mercantile Club.SURVIVORS: Sons Samuel (Patty Tatum) Tatum, Clark (Ann Tatum) Tatum, Todd Tatum and Jason (Patti Nappi) Tatum. Daughters Jane ( Carl Helstrom III) Helstrom and Jennifer (William Cunningham) Cunningham.
