Sharon L. Kressler, 59, of Allentown, passed away January 1, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. She was the daughter of Gail A. (Jacobs) Loder the late Joseph C. Loder. Sharon was a graduate of Allen High School in 1980, where she was a flag twirler in the band. Sharon also earned a certificate to teach dance. She looked forward to working at the voting polls at Cathedral Church of the Nativity every year. She adored family time, butterflies, dolphins and flowers. Sharon loved working at Egypt Star Bakery and was an amazing cook. She especially enjoyed making family birthday dinners and cakes. Her favorite foods were london broil and spaghetti. She grew tomatoes and cucumbers in her garden, canning the tomatoes every year to make her own special sauce. Some of her favorite shows were Golden Girls, Shark Tank, Rizzoli & Isles, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Chicago PD. She loved live music, and was overjoyed when she recently saw a concert of her favorite band, The Doobie Brothers. Her rescue pet Pomchi Lucy assisted her as a therapy dog, protecting her and loving her close. Sharon was a best friend to all with a great sense of humor. She had unimaginable strength and courage, with the undying will to live, love and be free. She was a proud Mother known as "Ma" to her kids and "Grams" to her little Presley "Pumpkin Spice", who finally made her a Grandmother. She was kind and thoughtful and possessed the biggest, most trusting heart. Ma was the continuous light, heart, and soul of the family. She will be remembered forever as a beautiful, inspiring, selfess soul who always made everyone smile, laugh, and feel good. Especially her family, who she loved with all her heart. She is survived by her Daughter: Shaylyn L. Kressler; Son: James P. Kressler; Mother: Gail A. Loder of PA; Sisters: Rhonda Loder, Karen Loder of PA and Laurie (Frank) Stepp of NC; Daughter In-Law: Kayla Bieber; and Granddaughter, Presley Rose Gail Kressler.
