Theresa Camody

Theresa Rita Camody, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2026, at Genesis Healthcare in Bethlehem, PA. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Anthony and Antoinette (De Luca) . Theresa dedicated her life to helping others. She worked in patient registration in the Emergency Room at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17th & Chew Streets in Allentown, from 2000–2006. She proudly served as a volunteer EMT with Whitehall Coplay Ambulance for 25 years and later with North Whitehall (NOVA). She also volunteered as an instructor of CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Life Saving for the Red Cross for 15 years. Her compassion extended into her personal life as well—she made monthly trips delivering food donations to the Missionaries of Charity. Theresa was a devoted member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Catholic Church.

Survivors: Brother: Nicholas F. Camody of Pittsburgh, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Maria Bauer, and her brother, S. Nick Camody.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 17 Friday at 10:00 AM Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th & Turner Sts., Call 9-9:45 AM at the funeral home at 18th & Turner St. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown.
