William V. Breitfeller, 86, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and the late Gisella (Gumhold) Breitfeller. Bill was married to his cherished wife, Evelyn J. Breitfeller for 43 years. He served his country as a Private in the Army during the Korean Conflict. William was a Superintendent at Hudson-Shatz Painting Company, NYC, NY, before continuing his painting career in southern California for another 17 years. He adored his beloved dogs, Nikki and Angel, and enjoyed feeding birds, rabbits, and squirrels outside his home. Bill was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Allentown. Survivors: Daughters: Vickie, wife of Victor Zmarzley Jr, of Northampton, Lt. Col. Lisa Berard, wife of Sean Ryan of DeWitt, MI; Donna Berard-Vassilatos of Bardonia, NY; Son: Andre, husband of Karen Berard, of Allentown; Brother: Roland of Rivervale, NJ, husband of Ann Marie Breitfeller; 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife Evelyn (Yost) Breitfeller, his sister, Elsie "Lee" McLaughlin, and nephews Bruce Breitfeller and Jeffrey McLaughlin. Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 14th in the Cathedral Church of St. Catherine of Siena, 18th & Turner Sts., Allentown.
