William Klucsarits

William J. Klucsarits, 88 of Whitehall PA, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 in St Luke's Hospital. He was a son of the late Joseph J. and Anne E. (Yandrasits) Klucsarits and husband of the late Alice since 1962. He served during World War II in the Army and later graduated from Villanova University, Villanova, PA in 1951, earned Master Degrees from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC in 1964 and State University of New York, Albany, NY in 1968. As a professor, he taught at Canisus College in Buffalo, NY, Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA and Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA. Bill was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, a lector for 20 yrs., a charter member of the Men of the Cathedral, a volunteer for the Bishops Appeal, Asst. Captain for Catholic Charities, 4th Degree Knight of Bishop Shanahan Assembly in Harrisburg, and past Vice Chairman and board member of Civil Service Commission of Salisbury Twp., Lehigh County Authority. Survivors: Children: George husband of Eunice of Duncan SC, Br. Linus (Paul) OSB, Ann C. Fitzgerald fiancee of Samuel Hinojosa of Alexandria VA, Margaret wife of David Best, and David of Dallas TX; Sisters: Helen J. Klucsarits of Whitehall PA, Theresa Kuncio of Pittsburgh PA and Margaret Boyer of Bethlehem PA; Grandchildren: Carolyn, Thomas and Dominic Best. He was predeceased by his wife Alice; siblings: Joseph, Antoinette Yandersits, Francis, Rose Weaver, Jack, Edward (Sam), Ann John, and Stephen Klucharich. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26th in the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, 18th & Turner Sts., Allentown is preceded by a visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 25th in Robert C.
